Staff
Dr. H. Neil Helton, Ph.D. is the pastor of Amelia Baptist Church. Neil is a native of Jacksonville and a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College. He holds graduate degrees from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Western Kentucky University (M.A.), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Th. M.), and Florida State University (Ph. D.). Neil is married to Pam who serves as our Music Minister. Together they have two children, Jonathan and Brittany. The Heltons have served ABC since September of 1990.
Willie D. Brunetti is our Minister of Education/Outreach and Administration. Willie is a native of Alabama. He holds a degree from the University of Evansville (BS Business Admin) and graduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma (MS Public Admin) and a Masters in Christian Education from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is retired from the Air Force. Willie is married to Lee, and together they have two grown children, Dan and Carolina. Willie joined the staff of Amelia Baptist Church in June, 2000.
Pam Helton is our Music Minister. Pam is a native of Madisonville, Kentucky. She holds degrees from Murray State University (B.A.) and Memphis State University (M.A.) and did post-graduate work at Florida State University. In addition to being our Pastor's wife and the mother of two, Pam is a voice instructor in the Music Department at Florida State College in Jacksonville. Pam served in several volunteer positions until the church officially asked her to join the staff in December of 1996.
Amy Scott is our Assistant Music Director. Amy is a native of Lapel, Indiana and graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2008 with a Bachelors in Music Education. She is the Instrumental Specialist for First Baptist Jacksonville Academy and a private brass instructor. Amy joined the church staff in February 2010 as the Instrumental Specialist and Co-director of Allegiance.

Nathan DeFalco has been serving as our Minister of Students since April of 2008. He is a native of Jacksonville, FL and holds a BA in Communications from Jacksonville University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary (Louisville, KY). He and his wife Amy have two children.

Theresa Scanlon is our Ministry Assistant. She is a native of Philadelphia, and has lived in this area since June of 1993. Theresa began her duties here in September of 1999.
