Dr. H. Neil Helton, Ph.D. is the pastor of Amelia Baptist Church. Neil
is a native of Jacksonville. He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College and holds
graduate degrees from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Western Kentucky University (M.A.),
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Th. M.), and Florida State University (Ph. D.). Neil has a wife,
Pam and two children, Jonathan and Brittany. The Heltons have served at Amelia since September, 1990.
Willie D. Brunetti is our Minister of Education/Outreach and Administration.
Willie is a native of Alabama. He holds a degree from the University of Evansville (BS Business Admin) and
graduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma (MS Public Admin) and a Masters in Christian Education from
the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is retired from the Air Force. Willie has a wife, Lee, and
two grown children, Dan and Carolina. Willie joined the staff in June, 2000.
Pam Helton is the Music Minister at Amelia Baptist Church. Pam is a
native of Madisonville, Kentucky. She holds degrees from Murray State University (B.A.) and Memphis
State University (M.A.) and did post-graduate work at Florida State University. In addition to being
a pastor's wife and the mother of two, Pam is a part-time instructor in the Music Department at F.C.C.J.
and teaches private voice lessons from her studio. Pam served in several volunteer music positions at
Amelia until December, 1996, when the church asked her to officially join the church staff.
Nathan DeFalco has been serving as our Interim Associate Pastor of Youth
and Families since April of 2008. He is a native of Jacksonville, FL and holds a BA in Communications
from Jacksonville University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary (Louisville, KY).
He and his wife, Amy, are expecting their first child due September of 2008.
Theresa Scanlon is our Ministry Assistant. She is a native of Philadelphia.
She and her husband, Marty, have lived in this area since June, 1993. Theresa began her duties in September, 1999.
